NUTRITION PHILOSOPHY

Like many people, I spent years navigating the constant demands of a traditional corporate 9–5 — long days, high expectations, and the slow, quiet burnout that can come from putting your health last while trying to keep up with everything else. I understood nutrition on paper, but it wasn’t until my own health was challenged that my relationship with wellness truly changed.

After being diagnosed with thyroid cancer and undergoing a partial thyroidectomy, I was forced to pause and look much more closely at my health — not just through labs and protocols, but through energy levels, stress, recovery, mindset, and daily habits. That experience reshaped how I practice nutrition and how I show up for every client I work with.

Today, that same depth and curiosity is what I bring to each individual at WebRD Dietitians.

My Background & Philosophy

I’m a Registered and Licensed Dietitian with a Master of Science in Nutrition and over 16 years of experience working across clinical, outpatient, and corporate wellness settings. Throughout my career, I saw how often people were given advice that didn’t account for real life — busy schedules, stress, family responsibilities, medical histories, and emotional relationships with food.

WebRD was built to do things differently.

My approach blends evidence-based Medical Nutrition Therapy with functional, whole-person thinking. I don’t believe in rigid rules, elimination without reason, or guilt-driven plans. Instead, I focus on helping clients understand how their nutrition supports their bodies — so changes feel empowering, not overwhelming.

How I Work With Clients

My work is rooted in:

  • Evidence-based Medical Nutrition Therapy

  • Functional and metabolic-focused nutrition

  • Behavior change science and motivational interviewing

  • A realistic, non-judgmental approach to food and health

I take the time to look beyond symptoms and diagnoses — exploring patterns, lifestyle demands, stress, sleep, movement, and nutrition together. I also partner closely with physicians, therapists, and fitness professionals to ensure care is coordinated and comprehensive.

Areas of Expertise

My clinical interests and specialties include:

  • Weight management, including GLP-1 medication support

  • Prediabetes, diabetes, and blood sugar regulation

  • Cardiometabolic health and cholesterol management

  • Gut health and digestive concerns

  • Intuitive eating and relationship with food

  • Longevity-focused nutrition and metabolic optimization

Being a thyroid cancer survivor adds a layer of empathy and perspective to my work — but it’s the science, structure, and partnership that drive meaningful change.

What You Can Expect at WebRD

When I’m not working, I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, staying active through hiking and strength training, and spending time with my family in the Atlanta area. I truly believe that investing time and energy into your health is one of the most powerful decisions you can make — and I’m honored to walk alongside my clients as they do just that.
