Most health plans cover visits with a Registered Dietitian. Every plan is different, so we check yours by hand and tell you your cost in writing before your first visit. For video visits, we bill insurance in network for clients located in Georgia, Florida, California or Pennsylvania at the time of the visit.

Medicare covers dietitian visits for diabetes, chronic kidney disease (stages 3 to 5, not on dialysis) and within 36 months of a kidney transplant, with a referral from your doctor. Medicare and dietitian visits. Not using insurance? See our self-pay rates.

Choosing a location.
Where can I see a dietitian in person?
In Alpharetta (3542 Old Milton Pkwy) and Buckhead (91 W Wieuca Rd NE, Suite 1000), both inside OptumMD offices. Emily Razza and Jackie Warren see clients in person at both.
Can I visit the Roswell office?
Roswell is our main office and it is staffed, but in-person client visits are not offered there right now. If you live in Roswell, you can see us nearby in Alpharetta, in Buckhead, or by video.
Which states can you see me in by video?
Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington. What counts is where you are during the visit.
Is insurance the same at every location?
We are in network with UnitedHealthcare, UMR, Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield (Anthem), Aetna, Cigna and Curative. For video visits, we bill insurance in network only for clients located in Georgia, Florida, California or Pennsylvania at the time of the visit.
How do I pick a location?
Choose the office closest to your day, or choose video. You can also mix in-person and video visits. When you book, tell us your goals and we will suggest a dietitian.
